WELL I looked out my window and what did I see?
SECOND WINTER STARING STRAIGHT AT ME.
Come on, March? What are you thinking, I mean really. You must be playing a trick on us. Or perhaps you've decided to switch places with February? I probably would too, if I were you. Year after year of the same thing, I'd want to go a little crazy with the weather. But I can't honestly say I'm pleased, March. I was going to ride my bike this morning.
So I stayed in my warm covers a little bit longer and tried to remember my dreams. They were strange. As always. I played the harp a little bit, and got ready for the day.
And then I spent my morning here. Have you heard of wish? I might be addicted. A little bit. My favorite was this shirt. I just might have to indulge. (Doctor Who? Yes.)
OH AND I'VE JUST REMEMBERED that I poured myself a bowl of frootie tooties and I forgot about them and they'll be all soggy, now.
WITH THAT, happy Friday. :)

School? What?
So, crazy thing, school starts in just over TWO WEEKS. I can't even believe it! I legitimately don't even know what to do with myself. I feel like I need to do so much to get ready . . . but I don't even know how to do that. It's a very confusing time for me.
I'm hoping, along with all the harping and theory and work (oh my!) I have to do this week, I can do some extra jobs at the house so I can buy some clothes. Otherwise, I might have to go around campus like this:
. . . and no one wants to see that.
I don't think I even wanted to see that. Maybe I should put up a cute one to even things out . . .
You know, I can't seem to find one. I seem to enjoy making faces in every photo there is.
Someday, someday.
p.s. Spencer had his yoyo competition in Florida yesterday! I took a break from work and watched him online. He was spectacular, of course. :)
p.p.s. Sometimes I just want to have a baby so I can dress her up and take her places in a stroller. Is that weird? Maybe I should just borrow one from the neighbors.

The Adventures of ASK!
. . .
When you put Spencer, Kimmie, and Alyssa together, you get the acronym A.S.K.
(I thought it was sorta clever.)
Meet Spencer and Kimmie. (They are prolly the most adorable brother and sister you should ever meet. And you really should meet them.)
Kimmie had never been to the Clark Planetarium before (gasp!), so an adventure was most certainly in order for the three of us.
. . . . And of course, we took the train.
(stoic on the moon . . . )
(and martians . . . on Mars . . . )
(Kimmie: This is NOT FROM EARTH! I can't get OVER it!!)
And then, oh readers, and then . . . I discovered a beautiful, over-priced land called Anthropologie.
And I fell in love with it. It's such a beautiful vintage store! I love it!
And last but not least . . .
Storytime in the Hundred Acre Woods (with Grover, in what is very nearly my FAVORITE children's book ever. Of all time.)

p.s. School's out! Halle-LOO-jah!

I'm like a chocolate-orange Ninja!
So I went to Walmart today.
I needed to get some things for lunch, and a treat for Chelsea. (She has her choir concert tonight, I'm so excited!)
I also decided that I needed THIS.
Not want, need.
You must understand.
Anyway so as I was checking out, I realized I had made a drastic mistake.
White chocolate.
Not milk.
White.
As the walls of Walmart seemed to begin tumbling down around me, I made a great leap over the register and cried, "NOOOO!!!"
. . . But it was too late. She had already rung it up.
As I described my dire situation to the cashier, she said, "I'll keep, you get new chocolate. You pay for this and get new."
So . . . I paid for it, and returned to the aisles with my bagged, paid for items. I awkwardly slipped into the "seasonal" row and found the last box of milk chocolate orange. And then . . . when no one was looking . . . I slipped it into my bag.
I felt like I was stealing! It was so awful! I shouldn't have felt so awkward, but I hid because I didn't want to be questioned and strip searched, you know?
But . . . it was worth the awkward.
Those things are so flippin' delicious.

My Crazy Family
Have I mentioned that I love my family? Because I most certainly do.
We started out (after cleaning up a little) with lunch at our favorite Mexican restaurant. (I always, ALWAYS get a cheese enchilada. I'll look at the menu a little, choose some things that look good to me . . . and order a cheese enchilada.)
(Mom: Are you texting at the table? Really?)
(Chelsea Marie: No . . . why would I do that . . . ?)
(Kennedy Paige and I tried on lots of hats . . . )
We went shopping to find Chelsea some shoes for winter, and also to find me some desperately needed jeans.
( . . . and lots of shoes, too.)
Then we set out to find Kennedy Paige some clothes that would fit her. (She's in the tween stage, where nothing fits.)
And I was lucky to find this awesome looking vintage suitcase, and a pair of shiny shoes to go with!
That sounds like I bought them.
I didn't.
Just took pictures. :)
(mustache, anyone? :)
All in all, we had a great time eating and shopping - trying on funny things, cute things, and just plain goofing off.
Like I said,
I love my family.

P.S. Most to all picture editing you see on here is done by Chelsea Marie. She's pro. :)
