This is Bliss II

I know that tomorrow is going to be just long and hard, and I'll be grateful when it's over. I've been so stressed about getting end of year testing and paperwork done, that I've just been a mess.

I also know that the times that are the worst are when I really need to think of the things I love and am grateful for. So here you go.
  • discovering a harper on the street outside city creek
  • getting laundry done
  • water (I LOVE WATER.)
  • making time for breakfast in the morning (twice this week)
  • long hugs from Spencer
  • re-reading harry potter (I'm on the third)
  • hangin' with my hamsters
  • watching "the vow"
  • the things Tarah says
  • FINALLY getting a new journal
  • this song:

In case you were wondering . . .

I'm starting a bucket list. I'll have it posted soon, and I'll continually be adding to it.

I thought I'd share one with you right now.
You've probably never seen this movie:

But it's one of my favorites. (I grew up on "Feature Films for Families" movies - my mom worked there when I was little.)

ANYWAY, the point is, she takes a bath, outside, under the stars. And I think that sounds AMAZING. So there you have it, I want to bathe outside. It will happen one day, and you won't be there.

Also, speaking of that, I almost fell out of the shower twice, that's right I said twice, this week. The first time was because of my violent morning sneezing. I sneezed very loudly and then screamed because I seriously almost fell through the curtain.
(Chelsea: "Ummm . . . are you okay?")
The second time was this morning, because I was just so dang tired that I started falling asleep standing up. Then I thought, "Man, what if my mom had to call into work and tell them I couldn't come in because I fell asleep in the shower and broke my leg?" And I decided it was good that I didn't face plant into my bathroom floor.

Moral of the story: showering is dangerous.

the end.

Honestly, people.

TODAY, I . . .

  • read "Horton Hatches the Egg" to my kids while they colored and ate cookies (I could do this every day and be so happy. really.)
  • went shopping (what? I never do that)
  • got my car washed by the cute youth in our ward
  • watched phineas & ferb
  • summer job searched on craigslist
  • painted my toenails blue

my new clean car and my new summer sandals (blue toes!)

Oh man, you guys. Some of the things I find on craiglist kill me, honestly. I'm dead, just look at me. My brains are all over the floor.
Like this guy? Honestly. And then another guy, who wants a sexy house cleaner. I mean, come on, people. Get girlfriends or something. Oh yeah, they can't - that's why they're looking on craigslist.

On another note, you should know that my adorable boyfriend Spencer watched Breaking Dawn with me yesterday. I told him he could back out, but he insisted he wanted to spend time with me. Awh. :) (I promise, there was much mockery from both of us. Mostly from Spencer. But seriously, guys. Renesmee?) (Also, whenever I look at "Renesmee" all I see is Smee. Like from peter pan.)
the end.

Chick Magnets

This movie. Is fantastic.
Nevermind that  six or seven people walked out of the theatre.
It is seriously the best.
Filmed in Utah, with local talent.
Why is it the best?
It is just SO AWKWARD.

So if you're one to appreciate awkwardness,
please go see this movie.

p.s. Spencer and I have definitely been inspired to make a movie.
It will be pro and we will be rich and famous because of it.
the end.

Who knew I could be so emotional?

Ya'll HAVE to watch this video.
I'm not even joking when I say that it made me cry.
Cause it made me cry.
(Seriously.)

And you know what else?
Peeta and Gale?
Oh my heck, guys.
I can't fight this feeling any longer . . .

loves&hugs,
alyssa kaylee

p.s. I had a lovely potato day with Jeni B. :) Thanksgiving for the singles ward!

p.p.s. So I go into the singles ward and sign up to have my records transferred, and I go home with 2 callings and a musical number in three weeks . . . no waiting around for me!
